One of the world’s leading commercial vehicle manufactures had a need to modernise their network infrastructure as existing network and security was  performing poorly, unreliable and difficult to manage.  It was identified that the business needed a solution for a modern LAN Network, WiFi,  Security and SD-WAN with fully integrated cloud management. The driving factors were to deliver increased flexibility, performance and security for future business needs.

The Solution

4MS completed the project which included operations across multiple sites around the world. The project scope involved designing and implementing a network solution that would seamlessly integrate into the client's larger global organisation of 32 sites, with the main site in Leicester.

Our in-house team of engineers conducted a thorough survey to assess the existing network infrastructure and design an optimised solution to meet the client's needs, followed by managing the procurement of hardware and software, including Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, WiFi and network switching solutions. The solution was commissioned and then optimised, ensuring seamless integration into the organisation.

 

Outcome

This project significantly enhanced the client’s network infrastructure, offering improved performance, security and simplified network management across sites. Productivity has increased due to better performance and less outages and security compliance is enhanced reducing business risk. The ability to manage the full solution from a single dash board has reduced time spent by key staff and enhanced customer experience and security. This increased flexibility, performance and security while reducing operation costs for the business.
